Inserting Image, Flash and Video
At this page, we explained how to insert image, flash and video into web pages by using Dreamweaver.
First of all we must put images, flashes and videos into root folder. I usually prefer to put them into images folder or sometimes I create new folder for them.
Before inserting images into web pages, edit it to be fitted its place. I use Adobe Fireworks to cut, resize images. Its easy to use and learn software. You can also use PhotoShop but it is much more complex and hard to learn.
Inserting Image
Click once where you want to insert image, click the Insert>Image... buttons (or Ctrl+Alt+I) from the top menu and select image. Another method is that you can drag and drop image from files panel to web page. After image is inserted a new window opens and we can type alternate text there if we want.
Inserting Flash
Inserting flash file is same as inserting image but we should click the flash icon from the common tab of insert bar.
Inserting Video
You can convert videos into flash videos and insert them into web pages as we explained above. You can also upload videos different websites such as youtube.com and insert video code given by Youtube.
